Welcome to CanDo!

Thanks for taking the time to get to know CanDo and we welcome your feedback as you use the app. Tell us what you like and what you don’t like, and we’ll use that information to improve the app in future upgrades.

While CanDo was designed with the needs of people with cancer in mind, it is free and available to anyone who needs help with both the big and little things that need taking care of.

Asking for help isn’t easy. It can be awkward and our natural inclination is to say a polite “No thanks, I’m fine”. If you’re recently diagnosed with cancer or another illness you may think that you won’t need help, and that’s ok, but keep us in mind if things start to get on top of you. If you’d rather not be in the driver’s seat, you can appoint a trusted friend to be your Team Leader. Either way, our goal is to help people enjoy a better quality of life, maintain social connections and relationships, and to let go of stressing about the little things that can be a pain at any time, but a real hardship to manage when you’re not at your best.

Along the way, we want to share with you some of the insights and tips we think you’ll find worthwhile and useful. We’ll share with you how Garvan is driving innovations in the medical research space. And we’ll introduce you to other people who’ve “been there, done that” to help provide the value of their experience.

If you have a story to tell, we have opportunities for guest bloggers. Please get in touch via Rachael@CanDoApp.com.au for further information.
